A couple of months have passed since our first newsletter and the summer (in our region) is almost over. I hope you all enjoyed the holidays you might have had! Where the summer months usually are a quiet time for many organisations, this cannot be said for IBS PE. We can clearly notice that the economic challenging times from last year have passed and that business is booming. This is also confirmed by many news stories like 
After years of research and development our first Isara 400 ultra-precision coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is now operational! This is not only a milestone in our company’s history, but it can be considered as milestone for the entire precision engineering world as well! The machine was officially presented to a Euspen conference delegation that visited our premises in June this year. Next to this visit, there was another milestone: The first Isara 400 has been sold to a German research institute!
For a long time it has been a strong desire to be a more active player on the Asian market. This desire has now been fulfilled by the recent partnership between IBS Precision Engineering and ABC Trading in Korea. This partnership has already led to the sale of two R-Test measuring systems for machine tool calibration in South Korea!
